CHAMPs in Haiti is a Minnesota based non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing direct care to Haitian natives since 2014.
The CHAMPs organization does not have any paid administrative staff. Only 1.3% of the donations to CHAMPs are used for administrative costs like mailings. All other donation monies are directed toward paying a fair wage to the Haitian staff, providing clean water to the village and furnishing medicines and supplies for the 3 clinic days a month in the village of Trianon. Travel participants pay their own travel and ground expenses for each trip - Approximately $1500.00.
Your donations go toward:
*Sustain and replenish the HOME village Clinic (Triano) with year-round medicine and supplies
*When CHAMPs trips resume, medical supplies for up to 2000 patients/week for Outreach clinics
*Offer fair wages to 1 Haitian physician, 1 dentist, 1clinic manager and 1 community worker
*Maintenance of water system (cistern with solar powered water pump and filter) placed in 2019 for the community of 8,000
*Educational projects inside the country with focus chronic sustainable health care access.
